Celebrating the Birthday of THE INN

Join us in commemorating the opening of the Inn & International day for older persons.

The Inn is a joint initiative developed to establish safe and dignified supportive housing for older persons in the inner city.

The name ‘The Inn’ refers to the passage in the Bible saying that there was no room at the Inn for Jesus and his parents. This programme wants to create space, to provide a home and a place to rest to persons over 50 years old in need of decent and affordable housing. The programme offers income-generating opportunities, emotional and spiritual support, and recreation.

This safe haven for the elderly & vulnerable working towards making a real long-term difference by developing a residential programme designed specifically to the holistic needs of vulnerable older persons.
